Argo specifies both values (sound pressure and sound power) for the Argo Ulisse 13 DCI air conditioner. The normal information that everyone understands is the sound pressure in dB(A). This information is given on our website and is correct. In addition, the supplementary sheet contains information on sound power. These are higher, but indicate a measure that is not decisive for the application.
In short:
- The sound pressure is what reaches you and is perceived as an audible sound.
- The sound power is what reaches the entire room, including the values that you cannot even perceive. This value is therefore automatically higher.
Conclusion: This means that the volume figures for the indoor unit (34-36-37 dB(A)) and the outdoor unit (42 dB(A)) are correct.
