White spot on the infrared tube

Modified on Sat, 12 Apr at 11:12 PM

Question:

Is my infrared tube defective? What are these white dots?

Explanation:

No, your infrared tube is not defective. White dots on an infrared tube are normal. They usually appear on Ultra Low Glare or Amberlight tubes. They do not affect the performance or the glare / amberlight radiation and are not an indication of a defect.

Notice:

The warranty on infrared tubes is 1 year on burn out / glow through. There is no replacement in case of breakage or damage caused by incorrect installation of the emitter.
